Transformed our yard in 2021 and we continue to have them do a spring clean up and mulch for us. Smoot came in and cleaned up the old liner and debris from recently removed bushes around our house. They recommended and planted some plants and flowering bushes. Installed rock to guide drainage to the yard. We had them come out again this year for spring cleanup, new mulch and a few more bushes. They are always helpful with recommendations on plants, mulch, rock placement, etc. We could not be happier with their service. Jesse and everyone is so helpful and the work is excellent. Smoot Landscaping blew me away with their quality of work and compassion for members of their community! I started a DIY landscaping project at our commercial property in Muncie and started my interaction with Smoot Landscaping by requesting a same day delivery for a rather large load of mulch. When their technician arrived, he quickly identified that the project I was working on was far too large for one person to complete and would probably take me weeks to do on my own. They then came out within another 30 minutes of the mulch delivery and helped me cut out the sod on our property that I was attempting to do on my own. Still baffled by the large amount of manual labor that was left in the project and seeing me try my best to tackle it on my own, the technician asked Aaron, the company owner, to come out and look at the project himself to see if there was any additional assistance they could provide. Within one hour of meeting Aaron, he had an entire crew at our location helping me remove all of our sod and spread mulch for our playground area. Not only did their crew do an amazing job and help me complete a job in 3 hours that would have probably taken me two weeks on my own, but they also displayed a level of kindness and compassion that is RARELY seen in the contracting community. I have stopped at Smoot’s Landscaping several times to get material. Normally around 8:00 am. Everybody working outside was busy on equipment. The folks inside were too. But they were quick to help and answer any questions I had about landscaping, material cost, etc.
after my purchase the outside guys loaded me up quickly so I could be in my way.
As important to me as anything they were genuinely nice people. I guess that comes from pride in ownership and being a family owned business.

I go here regularly with my trailer to pick up a half yard, or full yard, of things like mulch, top soil, gravel, etc. The prices here are MUCH better than bags from a hardware store and I can get higher quality material at the same time. I see the same lady at the counter and the same guy driving the loader every time and they are polite, friendly, and professional. Every trip is super quick.
